1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PickupSync ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PickupSync is a platform that helps organizers create and manage community events, collect payments from participants, and coordinate attendance. The Service includes event creation, invite management, payment processing, and communication tools.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Payments and Fees

Service Fee: PickupSync charges a service fee of 6% + $0.30 per participant payment. This fee covers payment processing and platform costs.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed through Stripe and PayPal. By using the Service, you agree to their respective terms of service.

Refunds: Refund policies are set by event organizers. PickupSync facilitates refunds according to the organizer's stated cancellation policy.

5. Organizer Responsibilities

Event organizers agree to:

  • Provide accurate event information
  • Honor their stated cancellation and refund policies
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes

6. Participant Responsibilities

Event participants agree to:

  • Review event details and cancellation policies before paying
  • Attend events they have paid for or cancel according to the policy
  • Behave respectfully toward organizers and other participants

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Create fake accounts or events
  • Process payments for events that do not exist

8. Limitation of Liability

PickupSync is a platform that connects organizers and participants. We are not responsible for the conduct of users, the quality of events, or disputes between organizers and participants. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
